Android Oreo is here, recently released in 4PDA, I'll teach you how to install, but first is first. THIS FIRMWARE WAS MADE POSSIBLE THANKS TO; Snowcatpda - for compiling the kernel, Rock1234 - for fixing bugs in the kernel, artem110777 - for booting and creating the firmware with the help of Rock1234, ska-vova|nik-kst|Skyrimus| - for overall helping in the making

Android Oreo 8.1

"stable" Alpha 1

Project Treble enabled.

 

Known bugs:

Camera is not working

Acelerometer not working.

Proximity sensor not working.

Bright sensor not working.

In Firmware alpha 1 (not treble ROM's) gapps are included but not working already.

 

HOW TO FLASH (THIS IS NOT FLASHABLE LIKE ANY OTHER ROM IN HERE) DO THIS WITH EXTREME CAUTION, READ EVERYTHING AND DO AS I SAY! 

 

CÓMO INSTALAR (ÉSTA VERSIÓN NO ES INSTALABLE COMO CUALQUIER OTRA ROM QUE PUEDAS ENCONTRAR AQUÍ) SEGUIR LOS PASOS DE ÉSTE TUTORIAL CON EXTREMO CUIDADO, LÉE BIEN Y HÁZLO COMO YO LO INDICO.

Step 1 First of all, backup your nvram (IMEI) using TWRP by Jemmini 3.0.2 or 3.2.1 Nougat (don't use 3.2.1 for OREO because you wont have anything written) / For doing this simply go to backup, select nvram and nvdata and make the backup in external storage (microsd) This is made for sms and calls to work, also mobile data.     Step 2 Now a large process will come, repartitioning your device to create /vendor partition and flash Oreo. (Repartitioning was possible thanks to SKA-VOVA)  Step 2.1 Download lastest OFFICIAL ANDROID 6.0 Firmware for SPFLASHTOOL; https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6HBCntn0EZRdlp1QzdMWTNUNFU/view?usp=drive_web / after it finish downloading extract it  Step 2.2 Download the scatter file I left in download section that Andrey167 gave me, who helped me 99% of the process of booting Oreo and understanding it, incredible developer. If it wasnt for Andrey167 help I couldn't explain you guys how to do this so it works for you all too. Step 2.3 Move Scatter file to downloaded 6.0 firmware, delete old Scatter file, Open SPFLASHTOOL, select 8.1 scatter file. UNTICK OR UNSELECT BOOTLOADER, DON'T FLASH BOOTLOADER BY ANY MEAN BECAUSE THAT CAN BRICK YOUR DEVICE AND HELL NO, WE DON'T WANT THAT. (03/06/2018) Select "Format all+Download" at Download type in SPFLASHTOOL, an error should pop-up saying there is no vendor.img selected, then just leave it Download only and flash. / If you get error "PMT has changed, you have to select "Format all + Download" and try again" then go to Format section in SPFLASHTOOL, select Formwat whole flash EXCEPT BOOTLOADER, then hit start (NOTE YOU WILL LOOSE EVERYTHING EXCEPT FOR WHAT IS INSIDE EXTERNAL SD), after this happens select Scatter file again and Hit download only. Step 2.4 It's time to flash vendor.img, download vendor that I left in download section (Vendor made by artem and rock in 4pda) untick all other options such as system, userdata, cache, boot, simply disable them because we are only going to flash vendor, select the vendor file you have just downloaded and flash it. Vendor partition is ready! (DON'T BOOT YET, WE WILL CONTINUE WITH FLASHING AND BOOTING OREO NEXT)      INSTALLING OREO THROUGH TWRP 3.2.1 for 3.18.79 OREO   Step 3 Download TWRP 3.2.1 for OREO that I should be uploading soon, the one that has OREO in title! / Open Spflashtool and flash TWRP 3.2.1 for OREO 8.1 using SPFLASHTOOL (RECOVERY partition)  Step 3.5 Download recovery backup of AOSP 8.1 by Artem110777 and Rock1234 (firmware ALPHA1) here is Download link: https://yadi.sk/d/gncLq9qr3WhJMS,  Step 3.7 Boot into Recovery by pressing Volume up (+) and Power button and the same time for a few seconds, when Bootloader comes up select first line by pressing POWER button while having it selected, Recovery 3.2.1 for OREO8.1 should boot. If the aosp 8.1 firmware backup has finished downloading, extract it and transfer the files of the folder to Externalsd > TWRP > backup > Doogeex5_3g (the files, not the entire folder) FREE SPACE SHOULD BE AT LEAST 1,4GB Step 3.8 Go to WIPE section in TWRP and do a factory reset, GO TO WIPE SECTION AGAIN AND SELECT FORMAT DATA, TYPE "YES" AND PROCEED, IF YOU DON'T DO THIS SOME DATA FROM MARSHMALLOW ROM (UNUSABLE) WILL STAY AND YOU WILL HAVE REALLY LOW STORAGE SPACE, LIKE 2GB, IF YOU WIPE DATA (YOU'RE NOOT LOOSING ANYTHING FROM EXTERNAL STORAGE) YOU WILL HAVE 4GB FREE. (03/06/2018)  then go to Restore section in TWRP and if you're on doogeex5_3g folder all the partitions should come avaliable for restoring, just select them all (vendor, system, boot, logo etc) and swipe to restore, restoring should restart. After restoring has finished, Android 8.1 should be bootable! CONGRATS! You booted it!     Restoring IMEI (nvram-nvdata)   Step 4 8.1 recovery won't work for restoring IMEI (nvram-nvdata) properly, so you will have to flash either TWRP 3.0.2 by Jemmini or 3.2.1Nougat by Jemmini. Step 4.5 After recovery is flashed, enter recovery, go to restore and open the restore folder where you backed up your IMEI (nvram-nvdata) and swipe to restore. IMEI has been restored sucessfully, DO THIS EVERY TIME YOU DON'T HAVE SIGNAL OR ETC. GO BACK TO OREO RECOVERY IF YOU WANT TO FLASH OTHER ROMS OR AOSP8.1 BECAUSE ONLY THAT RECOVERY WILL WORK FOR OREO ROMS.

Primer paso Primero que todo, haz una copia de seguridad de tu NVRAM (IMEI) usando el TWRP 3.0.2 de Jemmini o 3.2.1 Nougat (no uses el 3.2.1 de OREO porque no tendrás nada guardado ni tiene protocolo de guardado funcional) / Para hacer esto entra en el recovery, sección backup, selecciona nvram y nvdata asegurándote de hacer el backup (copia de seguridad) en la memoria externa o external storage (microsd) Éste paso se hace para que los SMS y las llamadas funcionen, así también como los datos móviles.     Paso 2 Ahora viene un proceso bastante largo, reparticionar el dispositivo para crear la partición /vendor y poder flashear Oreo, éste paso es de carácter OBLIGATORIO. (El reparticionado es posible gracias a SKA-VOVA)  Paso 2.1 Descarga el último OFFICIAL ANDROID 6.0 Firmware para SPFLASHTOOL; https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6HBCntn0EZRdlp1QzdMWTNUNFU/view?usp=drive_web / después de que la descarga termine extráelo Paso 2.2 Descarga el archivo scatter que dejé en la sección de descargas, cortesía de Andrey167 ,  quien me ayudó el 99% del proceso de bootear (iniciar, prender mi teléfono) con Oreo y entender cómo funciona, es un tipo increíble. Si no fuera por Andrey167 y su ayuda no podría estarles explicando ésto a ustedes chicos, agradezcan. Paso 2.3 Mueve el scatter file descargado a donde está el firmare 6.0 official que descargaste y extraiste , abre SPFLASHTOOL, selecciona el 8.1 scatter file. DESACTIVA O DESELECCIONA EL PRELOADER/BOOTLOADER , NO FLASHEES NI MODIFIQUES EL PRELOADER BAJO NINGÚN SENTIDO PORQUE ESO PUEDE BRICKEAR TU DISPOSITIVO. (03/06/2018) Selecciona "Format all+Download" en el tipo de Download en SPFLASHTOOL, debería de salirte un error diciendo que no hay un vendor.img seleccionado, cierra el error y deja que el modo quee en Download only y procede a flashearlo. / Si obtienes el error "PMT has changed, you have to select "Format all + Download" and try again" ve a la sección de FORMAT en SPFLASHTOOL, selecciona "Formwat whole flash EXCEPT BOOTLOADER", conecta tu disposito y luego dale click a start (RECORDAR QUE PERDERÁS TODO EXCEPTO LO QUE ESTÉ EN LA TARJETA EXTERNA O MICROSD), después de que ésto pase selecciona el Scatter file de 8.1 nuevamente y selecciona Download only, intenta flashear nuevamente. Paso 2.4 Hora de flashear el vendor.img, descarga el vendor que dejé en la sección de descarga (Vendor hecho por snowcatpda, artem and rock in 4pda) desactiva todas las otras opciones como system, userdata, cache, boot, etcétera, desativalas todas excepto vendor porque sólo esa vamos a flashear, dale click a la ubicación, selecciona el que descargaste y con el modo de descarga en Download only, procede a flashear el venor. PARTICIÓN VENDOR CREADA! (Aún no prendas el teléfono, que la guía continúa y sigues sin tener OREO)     INSTALANDO OREO USANDO TWRP 3.2.1 CON KERNEL 3.18.79 HECHO PARA OREO.   PASO 3 Descarga el TWRP 3.2.1 para OREO que está subido en la misma sección de X5, es el último que he subido yo, el que tiene OREO en el título! / Abre Spflashtool y flashea el TWRP 3.2.1 para OREO 8.1 usando SPFLASHTOOL (particion RECOVERY )  PASO 3.5 Descarga la copia de seguridad para recovery de AOSP 8.1 hecho por Artem110777 y Rock1234 (firmware ALPHA1) aquí está el link de descarga: https://yadi.sk/d/gncLq9qr3WhJMS,  PASO 3.7 Inicia en el recovery presionando Volumen arriba (+) y Botón de encendido aal mismo tiempo por varios segundos, sin dejar de presionar, cuando el Bootloader aparezca selecciona la primera línea (recovery) usando el Botón de encendido mientras tengas la línea sobre él, Recovery 3.2.1 para OREO8.1 debería iniciar. Si el aosp 8.1 firmware backup se terminó de descargar, extráelo y transfiere los archivos a la ubicación; Externalsd > TWRP > backup > Doogeex5_3g (los archivos, no la carpeta entera) DEBES TENER ALMENOS 1,4 GB DE ESPACIO LIBRE PASO 3.8 Ve a la sección de WIPE en el TWRP y haz un factory reset, deslizando en la parte de abajo de la pantalla estando en la sección de wipe, VUELVE IR A LA SECCIÓN DE WIPE Y SELECCIONA LA OPCIÓN FORMAT DATA, ESCRIBE "YES" Y CONTINÚA, SI NO HACES ÉSTO ARCHIVOS DE LA ROM INICIAL MARSHMALLOW (INÚTILES) SE QUEDARÁN COMO ESPACIO EN BLANCO Y TENDRÁS MUY POCO ESPACIO USABLE, SI WIPEAS EL DATA (NO PERDERÁS NADA DE LA MEMORIA EXTERNA) TENDRÁS 4GB LIBRES. (03/06/2018) Luego ve a la sección de Restore en el TWRP y si estás en la carpeta doogeex5_3g folder todas las particiones deberían ser seleccionables para la restauración (instalación de Android 8.1) selecciónalas todas (vendor,system,boot,logo, etcétera) y desliza para instalar- Después de que el proceso de Restore termine Android 8.1 se habrá instalado y será usable, reinicia para probarlo Felicitaciones, prendió!      Recuperar el IMEI (nvram-nvdata)   Paso 4 El recovery de Android 8.1 no funcionará para recuperar el IMEI (nvram-nvdata) adecuadamente, así que tendrás que flashear el TWRP 3.0.2 por Jemmini o el 3.2.1 de NOUGAT para Jemmini, nougat no Oreo. Paso 4.5 Después de que hayas flasheado el recovery usando SPFLASHTOOl, cuya instalación es la misma como la que hiciste al instalar el vendor.img, entra al recovery, abre la sección de Restore, abre la carpeta en donde habías guardado la copia de seguridad de tu IMEI (nvram-nvdata) y desliza para hacer el restore. EL IMEI HA SIDO RECUPERADO EXITOSAMENTE, REALIZA ÉSTE PROCESO CADA VEZ QUE NO TENGAS SEÑAL O ETCÉTERA. DEVUÉLVETE AL RECOVERY DE OREO SI QUIERES FLASHEAR OTRAS ROMS DE OREO O AOSP8.1 NUEVAMENTE PORQUE SÓLO ESE RECOVERY TE SERVIRÁ PARA INSTALAR LAS ROMS DE OREO!
