About

Euclidean OS is a AOSP based custom ROM for Google Nexus 5 with kernel improvements and useful features at the right place, providing a nice and smooth experience to the user. It’s based on Android 7.1 and the very famous ROM PureNexus.

 

Android 7.0–7.1.2 "Nougat" (codenamed Android N during development) is the seventh major version of the Android operating system. First released as a beta build on March 9, 2016, it was officially released on August 22, 2016, with Nexus devices being the first to receive the update, though the LG V20 was the first new smartphone released with Nougat.

Nougat introduces notable changes to the operating system and its development platform, including the ability to display multiple apps on-screen at once in a split-screen view, support for inline replies to notifications, as well as an OpenJDK-based Java environment and support for the Vulkan graphics rendering API, and "seamless" system updates on supported devices.

Euclidean OS stands for stability, speed and simplicity. We all have different opinions about how a perfect android operating system would be, due that, there're plenty of custom ROM's available. We don't want to be just another one, but the one, mainly for the AOSP lovers. Our goal is to provide extra features and improvements into the code without compromising the stability and the performance, always looking for the best way to improve and open for opinions in order to give to the user the best android experience. Install:

(prerequisite installed latest TWRP Recovery)

- Download ROM
- Download OpenGApps
- Take a nandroid backup
- Full wipe and factory reset (recommended)
- Flash ROM + OpenGApps
- Reboot.
- Enjoy!

 

NOTE: to install this ROM, unlocked bootloader and custom recovery are required.
