Custom version: 140HUG1

Android: 4.4.2 – KitKat

 

First make a backup of ROM:

create SCATTER file with MTK Droid Tools. It is recomended to wipe cache and userdata partitions before create SCATTER file.

 use SCATTER file in SP Flash Tool to Read Back entire ROM.

After, using SP Flash Tools format entire flash without Preloader, next flash new firmware.

 

If the screen remains white on boot, some files need to be replaced from the original firmware:

preloader.bin, boot.img and lk.bin (uboot.bin).

 

I included, separately, some helpful files: custom Recovery (TWRP), build.prop, dumchar_info and MT6572_Android_scatter.txt.

 

Two methods can be used for ROOT: KingoROOT or Custom Recovery (TWRP), included in archive, to flash SuperSU.zip.
